Please note: Consultations are strictly confidential and all client information is held in accordance with current data protection legislation.
Before your Consultation
You will be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire and food and lifestyle diary. Ideally you should complete and return this at least one week in advance of your consultation. The information that you give will facilitate a preliminary analysis and allow any necessary clinical research to be undertaken.
During your First Consultation
Your aims and goals will be clearly established and the information provided in your questionnaire will be discussed. For example Anne may ask detailed questions about your current health concerns, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, medical history, family history, lifestyle, levels of physical activity, use of medication and supplements and diet. Anne will then evaluate your individual needs and will use the extensive evidence base for nutritional science to develop an appropriate, agreed, realistic, personalised, safe and effective nutrition and lifestyle programme. A supplement programme may be suggested and optional cellular biochemical functional analysis testing may be advised.
(For more information on these tests and supplements please refer to Frequently Asked Questions Page)
In addition you will:
- Learn about the possible underlying causes of your symptoms
- Receive information about foods which may have a positive or negative impact upon your health
- Be given recipes and meal suggestions designed to complement your tastes and lifestyle
- Receive advice on how lifestyle changes and nutritional supplements might enhance and accelerate the achievement of your goals
- Be given a written protocol for your agreed programme
Follow up Consultation(s) – usually 4-6 weeks later
Your progress will be monitored and reviewed and any adjustments to your programme will be advised.
Further follow-ups may be required depending on each individual situation.
Please note: To ensure that you achieve your stated goals it is strongly recommended that you make full use of the email and telephone support and encouragement that are available. You will be asked to send regular updates of your progress between consultations for the duration of your programme.
